The Mith Is Taking Fans “Into His Uganda” … and He’s Bringing a Star-Studded Flight Crew

Boarding is set for November 14, and the pilot is a hip-hop veteran with a loaded guest list.

KlaViral has learned Tom The Mith, the award-winning Ugandan hip-hop artist also known as Mr So UG, is hosting “The So UG Experience,” a live music and cultural celebration on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at Kati Kati Grounds in Kampala.

Here’s the deal — the guest list is the headline. Featured artists include Lillian Mbabazi, Maurice Kirya, Navio, Elijah Kitaka, Feffe Bussi, Winnie Nwagi, Bigtril and Flex D’Paper, with more to be named.

Turns out, the theme is a flight. The show is built around the idea of taking flight with The Mith into his Uganda, with a musical journey through his catalogue, the evolution of Ugandan hip-hop and the cultural influences that shaped his sound and worldview.

The Mith got his start as a member of the pioneering Ugandan hip-hop group Klear Kut before going solo. Organizers say his work has explored identity, belonging, ambition, social consciousness and the complexities of African life, and that it has shown hip-hop can be a platform for storytelling and cultural expression, not just entertainment.

The creative direction is rooted in a flight into Uganda, a celebration of the country as seen through its people, music and creative voices. The themes, per the announcement, are identity, pride, heritage, progress and telling our own stories.

Want a seat? Tickets run UGX 30,000 (Earlybird), UGX 50,000 (at the gate), UGX 100,000 (Business Class) and UGX 2,000,000 per table of five (First Class).

One hip-hop storyteller, eight named guests and a flight theme with an airline-style price list — The Mith is asking you to pick your class.

We’ll update when more artists are announced.
