Jamaica meets South Africa meets Kampala, and the date is already circled for December.
KlaViral has learned Jamaican dancehall star Konshens and South African Amapiano heavyweight DJ Maphorisa will headline the Vibe Republic concert on Friday, December 11, 2026, at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.
Here’s the deal — this is the maiden edition of Vibe Republic, and organizers are pitching it as a music-led tourism play. The idea is to draw East African audiences to Uganda, show off its hospitality and culture, promote regional travel and give Ugandan artists a stage next to international acts. The night is billed as a mix of dancehall, Amapiano and Ugandan music.
Turns out, the home team is still a mystery. Ugandan artists and local talent are on the bill, but the names will be announced later.
The show is presented by Explore Uganda, Talent Africa Group and Swangz Avenue.
