Isaiah Katumwa Drops “My Hope” … and the Sax Man Says He Needed the Reminder Too

Isaiah Katumwa has a new single out, and he’s letting the saxophone do all the talking.

KlaViral has learned the Ugandan saxophonist released “My Hope” on October 19. The track draws on his personal experiences, his faith and the possibilities that come with starting over.

Here’s the deal — Katumwa, known for his Afro Smooth Jazz Fusion sound and his Billboard-charting work, wants the song to give listeners something to hold onto during uncertain times. He describes hope as continuing to believe when circumstances offer little reason to, not as the absence of difficulty.

Turns out, he sees this as a new chapter. His years of experience, he says, are a foundation for new possibilities, not a final destination.

“My Hope” is an instrumental led by his saxophone, blending soulful melodies, African influences and smooth jazz. Katumwa says instrumental music can reach listeners across languages and countries.

There’s more on his radar, too. The article says he’s also interested in collaborations and artist development.

And he’s applying the message to himself. Katumwa frames the song as a reminder for himself as well as his listeners: experience doesn’t remove uncertainty, and success doesn’t mean there’s nothing left to discover.

A Billboard-charting sax player, a song with no words and a message that needs none — Katumwa is still learning, and he’s saying so out loud.

We’ll update if we hear more.
