The global party that’s rolled through Paris and Cape Town is finally touching down in Uganda — and it’s asking guests to show up in neutrals.
KlaViral has learned Aprtment Life makes its Ugandan debut Saturday, October 10 at Motiv Bugolobi, running 8pm to 2am over Independence weekend. It’s a Ganda Vibes production, backed by tequila heavyweight Don Julio and whisky giant Johnnie Walker.
Here’s the deal — Kampala is the latest stop on a circuit that’s already hit Paris and Cape Town, with Nairobi hosting the Kenya edition the night before. And the previous Aprtment Life guest list hasn’t been shy about star power: Omah Lay, Wale, Daddy Chulo, DJ Money and Ella Knight have all been associated with the brand’s past events.
Turns out, the Kampala night is leaning on DJ and creative Parismatiq, a central name in the Aprtment Life world, with local DJ Vanss joining him on the decks.
And then there’s the dress code. Organizers want understated — beige, cream, sand, oat and light brown. Translation: if your outfit is loud, you’re doing it wrong.
On the drinks side, expect Don Julio cocktails and bottle service all night. Don Julio’s Judie Nandekya says the goal is to connect with fans through music and premium social experiences, and to create a distinctly Ugandan moment. Johnnie Walker’s Christine Kyokunda says the partnership fits the brand’s push to back African creative expression through its Afro Exchange platform, adding that the brand is eager to see how local creatives make the night their own.
Want in? Classic access runs Shs 125,000, with a Group Classic rate of Shs 100,000, available at qkt.io/aprtmentlife. Organizers say tickets are moving fast.
Paris, Cape Town, Nairobi, Kampala — and every stop comes with a color palette.
